What to reveal, what to reveal…

Wow! Thank you all for the amazing outpouring of support. I was particularly surprised to learn that I was in good company: a lot of people who started blogging at the same time as me came out of the woodwork. In particular, I discovered that Jess from Pieces of Me had gone AWOL for months… and made her return just three days before I did. After posting a comment on her blog about it, she replied with, “Ahhh, the big question, what to reveal… what to reveal…” That is EXACTLY how I feel. I’m unsure how much of my personal …

Boston, here I come!

Yesterday, we got our company’s internal communications daily newsletter, and I read through it as usual, but saw nothing of note. A few hours later, I started getting IMs from coworkers, asking me if I was “all over the marathon contest.” Um, what marathon contest? Oh happy day

Work sucked last night but it is time to put on my happy face. And I currently have good reason to do so – work is done and I am FREE for the night! At 6:30 PM! How unbelievable. I don’t even know what to do with myself. Should I cook? Should I go to the gym (I have not worked out one stitch since the Atlanta Marathon on Thanksgiving… oops!)? Should I go to a bar and get wasted? Should I just go to bed? The possibilities are endless. However, the most exciting thing: tomorrow I go to HAWAII! …

Last night while drunk

Thank you for registering for the The Weather Channel Atlanta Marathon 2008. Your Registration is confirmed, and you may use this email as your Registration Confirmation. Oh, but that’s not all… Laura ***Honolulu MarathonTransaction ID: JME1188861 That’s right, I’m going to Atlanta for Thanksgiving and Hawaii in December! For Thanksgiving, I’m flying down to ATL on Wednesday night, running the marathon on Thursday morning, then jetting over to Charleston to join my brothers plus their fiancees for a guilt-free Thanksgiving feast (calories burned from 26.2 miles = lots and lots of stuffing). On Friday, I’ll spend the day trying to …
