Friday was my company’s annual promotion day, where all the promotions for the year are announced, and we celebrate. I kicked off my weekend early, attempting to take Thursday and Friday off work. However, I ended up taking a bunch of work calls in the morning (oops) and not really accomplishing much on the workout / personal front either. This weekend was absolutely perfect… to the point that I kept asking, is this real life? On Friday, as soon as I wrapped up my calls, I headed over to J’s house for dinner.
