Weekend of July 19-21 My weekend started a little bit early – with the kickoff of Back on my Feet (BoMF) Denver at 6:30am. I first heard about BoMF years ago, when Ericka used to volunteer with them in DC. BoMF seeks to combat homelessness by first building confidence and self-esteem through weekly group runs, then enrolling participants in financial literacy classes and job skills training. My weekend started off on the disappointing side – with rainy, cold weather that made me cancel plans to go to my work’s annual Promotion Day. Promotion Day is always one of my favorite days of the year – when we announce and celebrate all those who got promoted (we have one time of year for performance reviews / promotions, though we of course provide real-time feedback all year long). Weekend Recap: Halloween Festivities, Final Campaign Events, and Mountain Planning

Weekend recap from October 27/28. I wrote about last weekend being a turning point for my campaign, where I finally ditched my imposter syndrome and started feeling like I might actually win this. However, that made me a little worried… was I getting overconfident, and would I hit some major snag that would make me regret feeling so good? This weekend, at least, the answer was no.
