App I Love: Paper Karma

I wrote on Monday about how I may be back to traveling for work soon – and there are a lot of challenging logistics that come with traveling. For example, I’m on the lookout for a neighborhood kid that I can hire to take my trash cans in for me on a weekly basis, since our trash pickup is on Monday afternoons and our HOA bylaws state that the trash cans cannot stay out past Tuesday morning. Not easy for me to do if I’m working a thousand miles away till Thursday! Another thing that worries me is if my …

App I Love: Buffer

Still not done with my Melbourne race report – it is coming though! And now I have a deadline because I just signed up for the Lost Dutchman Marathon in Arizona next weekend for Valentine’s Day. Getting all backed up on race reports seems like a dumb idea, because that’s when I end up never completing reports for some of my most epic races. So I need to get on the ball with this one, and am hoping to get it done tomorrow or Monday. But in the meantime! Wanted to give a quick shoutout to an app I love: …

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Softcard. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Although I knew I’d be laid up after surgery, I didn’t realize quite how useless my left arm would be. I knew it would be stuck in the cast, but didn’t realize how sensitive it would be to movement. Literally just thinking about moving a muscle or twitching my fingers in any way sends pain shooting down my arm (which, fine, makes sense when you consider that the work was all about fixing the nerves). Unfortunately, …

App Review: Clever To-Do List

Clever To Do Contexts

Nope, this is not getting the title of an “App I Love”… though it’s not bad. Keep reading to find out why – you’ll learn a lot of best practices for to-do lists and productivity in the process. Whether you’re a long time reader or not, you probably know that I absolutely love making lists… especially to-do lists. (If you haven’t already, check out my two-part post of how I organize my to-do list to GSD.) I created that Excel template in part because it was easy for me to work with, but also in part because I hadn’t yet …
