My weekend started off with a little trip – up to Albany, New York to visit my family! I’ve been working on a project in New York City recently, which made it feasible to pop up to Albany for two days before flying home. While it’s not part of the “weekend”, my mom came down to New York on Tuesday, and we were able to get discounted tickets on Tuesday night to see Kelli O’Hara in Kiss Me Kate. I ran the Run for the Horses 5K on Saturday September 1, in Saratoga Springs, NY. For a refresher, the night before the race, my flight got delayed several hours, and I finally got to Albany at 3am and into bed at 3:30am. Not good when I had to be up at 6:30am for the race! I was exhausted going into Labor Day weekend, and I think I’m even more exhausted coming out of it. Weekend Recap: Merry Christmas!

I’ve had this entire week off work, which has been glorious! Unfortunately, I’ve spent most of it on the couch, since waking up the day after Christmas super sick 🙁 On Tuesday and Wednesday, I woke up with a swollen throat, but it went away within 30 minutes of waking up (and having some throat coat tea, which I’ve loved since I was a musical theater kid).
