Review: Brancott Estate Flight Song Wines

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Millennial Central for Brancott Estate Wines. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. When I got home on Thursday night, my apartment was still pretty much a just-moved-in disaster. My dining room had been taken over by all the discarded boxes that I hadn’t yet broken down to throw away / give away, since I was waiting till I had unpacked all the boxes before breaking down any of them. (Obviously that was necessary to reduce switching time between …

No More Night Shifts: What I Learned

The big launch I had at work this week went incredibly smoothly, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is it a huge professional success, but the lack of major problems meant that instead of having to pull night shifts for three weeks (and we all saw how crazy I was with the lack of sleep I got on night shifts), I’m done with night shifts and get to work a normal schedule from here on out. Travel Tip: Create Your Own Healthy Menu for Dining Out

This week, I heard about a pretty neat new startup through one of my favorite NYC health and fitness news sites, Well + Good. As someone who travels a ton for business (I’m on a plane right now as I write this!), I normally don’t have the luxury of bringing a packed lunch or cooking my own dinner. Unfortunately, when I’m faced with a big menu of choices, it can be difficult to steer myself away from the unhealthy options and stick to only what’s good for me. Healthy Hand was created to help reduce those choices and make sure you’re eating …

June Challenge: Mindful Snacking

I cannot believe it’s the last day of May already – this year is flying by! It’s been a while since I’ve talked about my monthly challenges, in part because I made the decision to keep my May challenge to myself. However, I’m guessing some of you may have figured out what it was anyway! I decided that for the month of May, I was going to try to focus more on my blog. I added a few pages (check out my brand new About Me page), and also embarked on a complete redesign. The finishing touches went on the design this …
