Back to the old grind…

Actually, I really shouldn’t have titled this entry the way I did. I love my job and the work that I’m doing, and I love Boston. But still… my ski trip was awesome. I did not break a leg, and I actually did pretty well for myself. “Not breaking a leg” may not seem like a big deal, but let me tell you that I had not been skiing for literally 10 years, so I was a bit concerned about how I would do on the slopes of Killington. However, I did quite well for myself. I did two runs …

You’ll always remember your first time…

I started writing this as a comment to Audrey, but it was long enough that I thought I’d put it into a real post instead. I still haven’t picked my marathon, but I’m enjoying everyone’s suggestions. I picked up a copy of Fodor’s Traveling Marathon Guide, so I’ll hopefully look through that and pick a fun place. Spirit of the Marathon

So like all the others who were slow to get their tickets the first time around and then heard what an awesome experience they missed out on, I went to see Spirit of the Marathon last night. Healthy Hotel Review: Hilton Boston Back Bay

I stayed at the Hilton two weeks ago, and wrote most of this then, but have been slow to post it. I’m staying at the Westin right now, and I find that I keep adding to this review as I compare it to the Westin. For the record, I like the Hilton much better… but the Westin has a treadmill/spinning bike in my room, which is the only reason I stay here. If they ever kick me out of this room, I will kick them out of my trip itinerary and hightail it back to the Hilton. Working out at …

Restaurant Review: B.Good

When searching for healthy restaurants in Boston, one place kept coming up: B.Good. According to the story on their website, “Our plan is simple – fill the void. Serve “real” food. You know, the foods we all love, like burgers, salads, chicken sandwiches, and fries. The difference? Our food is better for you because we use the healthiest ingredients and cooking methods. And our food tastes better because we take the time to make it right – homemade & fresh each day. After all, we all love fast food but hate the way it makes us feel – sick and …
