You Can Call Me Granny

(Quick note to my mom, who sometimes reads this blog: I am not pregnant nor do I have a preexisting child who is. Just keep reading!) My skin has been so ridiculously dry lately! At first, I thought it was just the winter (and my friend Liza confirmed that she’s had more trouble this year than in years past, too). But the combo of that, my weight being up a bit, and my tolerance for alcohol just not being what it used to be, makes me wonder… am I getting old? (Not with this babyish haircut, I’m not! Today, I gave.

First, I gave it my best at the gym this morning, rocking out Rachel Cosgrove’s Base Phase B workout (I feel stronger already!) and getting my day off to a great start. I discovered that my gray Little Rock Marathon shirt had the same shade of neon green as an accent color, so that became my top to match… but the shirt was baggy and t-shirt-like. I like to wear something less bulky and more …

Helping the needy?

I wish my business hotels offered this program: At the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, you’ll earn a free voucher for a meal worth about $44 if you get some exercise and burn off part of your carbon footprint by producing 10 watts of energy on a bicycle through the “Cycle for Your Supper” program. With my two-a-day workout schedule, I could feed a family of 5!
