As much as I love Boston, I’m thrilled to be back home in New York. Today at work we had our “town hall,” which was our big staff meeting. It was kind of boring… so I made up for it by eating everything in sight. Since it was a buffet, that meant bad news for my diet. I was exhausted all day Saturday, and really not looking forward to the race. I did get myself to run to NYRR and back (~5 miles) in order to register and pick up my packet, which then made me committed. This report is so long in coming; my apologies. I seem to work best under a deadline though, and what better deadline than knowing I have another race tomorrow? 🙂 I woke up at 7:29 AM, just before my alarm went off, and realized I was still a bit drunk from the wine I had the night before.
