Overscheduling and Maxing Out My Relationships

Bachelor Season Premiere: Prince Farming

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been feeling kind of stressed out and overscheduled. I feel like I haven’t had much time all by myself (this weekend not withstanding), and as my post yesterday illustrated, I’ve been neglecting some of the basic maintenance tasks in my life. For example, I haven’t taken my car to the car wash in months (ew), and the dining room table in my apartment is building up a pretty big stack of papers/bills “to deal with later.” However, the ugly truth about why I’m so stressed out is: I totally brought it on myself. And …

Walmart Automotive Center Pricing

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. At first, I thought the asking price was too high and I wasn’t even going to make an offer; however, the more I thought about it, the more I really liked it. I ended up going back for a second viewing (I know, unheard of to have time for two viewings, but it went on the market Wednesday and they were taking offers all the …

Beaver Creek and World-Class Skiing (Plus World-Fail Line Standing)

2015 World Ski Championships

Yesterday was a pretty hectic day. I crammed as much work as I could into the morning, then headed over to my realtor’s office in the afternoon for a pretty serious discussion – we needed to talk pricing for my second try at putting in an offer on a house! I am really hopeful about this one, and put in what I think is a really strong offer, so cross your fingers for me – I am incredibly nervous until I hear the news tomorrow! While I’m definitely stressing about the house, I found a great way today to take …
