This weekend was another good mix of getting to see people and getting things done… though of course I always wish there were more time in the day! Weekend Recap: SPG Life

My “weekend” started a little bit early this week, as I took Friday off work to go to the beach. I decided last month that it was silly that I’ve been working in Florida for 1.5 years and have barely seen the ocean, so I am now trying to take one Friday off a month to stay in Florida and enjoy the beach! Race Report: Louisville Trail Half Marathon

Two weeks ago, I ran my first distance race in more than 2.5 years. In February 2015, I quit halfway through the Lost Dutchman Marathon because I decided I’d rather be brunching with Adam than running. Later that month, I ran the Montgomery Marathon to make up for DNFing. And then – I didn’t run anything longer than a 10K until this month. Last year, my friends Lynne and Heidi started an email group of their runner friends. One or two days a week, someone would send an email to invite everyone for a pre-work group run at one trailhead or another.
