Bon Voyage!

No time for a real update today other than… I’m off to Europe!!!! Switzerland, France, and Spain, look out – the running beer/wine/sangria taster is a-comin’ for your supplies 🙂 Especially you, Microbrewerie de Chamonix that lies only 2.4k from my hotel… I cannot wait. Not sure how the internet will be over there, so I may or may not be posting, but will be back stateside on Monday with plenty of tales, I’m sure. Plus, I get to tick off the rest of New Year’s resolution #4: visit 4 new countries in 2011. For now, I’ll leave you with …

Soaking up the sun and dissolving the stress

What a blast I had in Cancun this weekend! My old roommate, Kelly, is in Chicago now getting her MBA at Kellogg, so I rarely see her anymore. To remedy that, we decided to plan a girls’ getaway in February… but then pushed it up to this weekend. We were lucky enough to get a cab back to the hotel (where we …

For example, if you look at the advanced fare rules and the list of taxes and fees …

Just believe in yourself

Friday night was insane – in a good way, though. We started at Jax for the meet-and-greet with the pros, and I was amazed to find someone I knew. A guy who lived on my dorm floor my sophomore year of college, Matty, is apparently now living in Colorado and working as an agent for a bunch of the pro boarders. So neat to see him! However, what contributed to the wild night was not seeing Matty, but it was the amount of free alcohol we were drinking. In addition to the (non-alcoholic) energy drink company that was comping our …
